Total Quality Warehouse (TQW) was established
in 1995 in Effingham, IL, with a commitment to providing high quality
warehousing for manufacturers and other commercial businesses. TQW
is a division of Agracel, Inc., an industrial developer specializing
in site selection, build-to-suits, acquisitions, sale-leasebacks,
and redevelopments. This combination of a smaller, flexible
warehousing division backed by an industrial developer with sites
across the country is representative of the warm, friendly people
you’ll find at TQW who have the strength and resources to
be as effective and aggressive as they are pleasant to work with.
Bulk material handling, transfer & storage were TQW’s original focus
and continue to be a strong segment of TQW’s business. The bulk storage
is complimented by the presence of a short-line railroad spur running through
the Effingham Rail facility. Serviced by Effingham Railroad (EFRR), which
offers two competing rail lines, CSX and CN/IC, TQW offers its clients the advantage
of competitive pricing and profit from this dual access. EFRR staff communicates
directly with the TQW team, making decisions at a local level to insure that
product is efficiently transported.
During subsequent years, food grade warehousing space was added to the Effingham
rail facility as well as additional warehouse sites in Herrin, Robinson, and
Mount Vernon, Illinois.
In recent years, TQW’s services have expanded to include pick, pack, ship
(PPS) and reverse logistics operations. Supported by cutting edge warehouse
management solutions software, TQW offers the latest in supply chain warehousing,
distribution and fulfillment solutions. In addition to allowing advanced
web view of inventory and reporting capabilities, TQW provides system integration
through EDI and ASN data transfers, reducing manual data entry. Inventory
is tracked with barcode technology for the highest degree of accuracy.
TQW currently services seventy five clients throughout Central and Southern Illinois
and has over 500,000 square feet available. Three shifts operating daily
allow TQW to meet the demands of their clients and truly be available for them
night and day. All orders typically ship within 24 hours.
TQW is professionally managed and staffed, with over 90 years of combined warehousing
experience. With an emphasis on safety, TQW’s trained forklift operators
are experienced in straight fork, roll clamp, box clamp, slip sheet, roll stinger
and other material handling functions. |
